About Close Call Replay

Close Call Replay was founded in 2023 to solve the problem of line calling in professional pickleball. Close Call was the first to put high frame rate cameras down all lines allowing referees to determine in ultra slow-motion if the ball is in or out.

Our Story

Close Call Replay was founded by two pickleball industry veterans who combined their expertise in broadcasting, production, and technology to create Pickleball's First and Only 240 Frames-Per-Second Replay Challenge System with AI Ball Tracking.

Kyle Selinko

Kyle discovered pickleball in 2016, initially pursuing a career as a professional player. He won many tournaments in the Midwest in 2018-2019 and currently holds a DUPR Rating of 5.55. In 2020, he shifted his focus to broadcasting pickleball.

Kyle's company, BoxCar Productions, has broadcasted and streamed more pickleball events than any other entity. They have served as the official broadcast partner for The APP Tour and USA Pickleball (2020-2022), Major League Pickleball (2023), Minor League Pickle, DUPR Collegiate events, and The PPA Tour.

Kyle is the Co-Founder of Close Call Replay and the owner of Fortify Pickleball Club, a premier facility near Milwaukee, WI. His deep understanding of both competitive pickleball and broadcast production makes him uniquely qualified to develop technology that serves players at every level.

Eddie Adkins

Eddie has been immersed in pickleball since 2017, combining his passion for video production and technology with the sport. He co-created and starred in a long-running pickleball podcast, and manages a YouTube channel with over 48,000 subscribers and 5.4 million views.

Eddie has produced and commentated live events including the 2019 Beer City Open, 2019 World Pickleball Championships, and 2020 Florida Grand Slam. Through his partnership with Boxcar Productions, he has served as Director of Photography, Side Court Producer, and Lead Production Engineer.

He innovated "Tuesday Night Pickleball at The Orchard" broadcasts with dynamic graphics and automation. Eddie is the Co-Founder of Close Call Replay, bringing his expertise in high-speed video production to create the most advanced line review system in pickleball.
